Settlement of Theft of Trade Secrets Case for Cruise Line Executive
Colin Veitch
Representation of Colin Veitch, former President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Lines, in his lawsuit against the Virgin Group. Veitch developed a plan for a new line of ultra ships that would have brought Veitch and Virgin nearly $1 billion in profit over ten years. Veitch alleged Virgin breached their agreement to create the cruise ships, demanded a larger than agreed upon share of profits and later used his idea without consent to launch Virgin Cruises. In January 2016, the parties agreed to a confidential settlement.
