$15 Million Inverse Condemnation Case Involving 1,200 Acres
Property Owner
Representation of a property owner in the resolution of an inverse condemnation case arising from the South Florida Water Management District's saturation of the property to protect adjacent wellfields. The case involved more than 1,200 acres of undeveloped land adjacent to Krome Avenue in northwest Miami-Dade County. We successfully negotiated the conversion of the case to eminent domain and settled the valuation portions of the case for $15 million.
