Jennifer Fine participated in a discussion as part of the Legal Services of Greater Miami Young Professionals Council's Conversations with Leaders event. Jennifer spoke with H.T. Smith, Director of Trial Advocacy Program at Florida International University, about his service during the Vietnam War, his advice to young professionals, his experience working at Legal Services of Greater Miami and his career of firsts. H.T. Smith was the first African American Public Defender in Miami-Dade, the first American Assistant County Attorney, and owned the first black-owned law firm in Downtown Miami.  Jennifer and H.T Smith also discussed how to ensure an inclusive workplace, how to make an impact on the community during challenging times, and why it's so important to support Legal Services of Greater Miami.
