Aviñó, Land Development and Government Relations Practice Group Leader, on being named to Connect CRE's inaugural "Lawyers in Real Estate." This award honors the top 50 attorneys from around the U.S. for excelling in their practices as well as their contributions to the community.
Javier is recognized for his work on the Miami Produce Center, a 1.36 million-square-foot complex with homes, offices, shopping, and dining. He is also recognized for his commitment to his community. Javier is on the Board of Directors for the Latin Builders Association, a Legislative Committee Member for Builders Association of South Florida, a member of Urban Land Institutes Multifamily Product Council, and a board member for the nonprofit organization Voices for Children.
Javier focuses his practice on land use, zoning, and environmental law. He assists clients in obtaining the necessary development approvals for major high-rise residential condominium and rental projects, commercial and institutional buildings, single-family residential developments, affordable housing developments, and public/private projects.
