Miami, FL –Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce that an attorney has been elected to the firm's partnership. Effective January 1, 2021, attorneys Karyl Argamasilla will become the firm's newest partner, with practices focused on all aspects of real estate transactions, CMBS, and finance.

Karyl Argamasilla focuses her practice on structuring and executing large commercial real estate transactions. Karyl represents some of the largest special servicers of CMBS loans in the country. As a Director in the CMBS capital markets group, she handles complex assumptions, transfers of interests, workouts, forbearances and loan modifications, among others, with extensive work in the hospitality sector. Karyl has represented national and local developers, lenders, landlords, tenants, sellers, and purchasers in engagements such as acquisition, disposition and operation of property, development and financing for all asset types, including office, retail, multi-family, hospitality, self-storage and health care facilities, as well as portfolios of real property. She has also been an active member of various community and professional organizations, including United Way of Miami-Dade's Women United Executive Committee, Commercial Real Estate Women Miami and Street Law’s Law Firm Diversity Pipeline Program.
