Robert L. Raskopf Re-Appointed to NYC Bar Association Committees

Raskopf has been appointed to serve on two New York City Bar Association committees – the Entertainment Law Committee and the Sports Law Committee. Bob’s invitation to continue serving on these committees – as a committee member and Affiliate Member respectively - is a testament to his valued legal expertise and commitment to helping shape law and public policy.
The majority of Bob’s seasoned career was based in New York City, New York, where he was actively involved in various legal industry organizations including the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, International Trademark Association, Media Law Resource Center, United States Anti-Doping Agency, and Federal Bar Council. Currently based in Bilzin Sumberg’s Miami, Florida office, he remains a contributor to many of the aforementioned organizations, which also includes the New York City Bar Association.
Bob’s litigation counsel focuses on intellectual property, media, sports, entertainment, and privacy issues. He serves as an integral part of Bilzin Sumberg’s Media and Intellectual Property Litigation Practice. His representation has covered disputes involving trademarks, false advertising, copyright, defamation, trade libel, First Amendment, privacy/publicity, product configuration and product disparagement, trade dress, trade secrets, and access to courts and governmental proceedings.
