Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce that Erin L. Stafford has been named a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow for 2025. Designed for lawyers with eight to 15 years of experience, the intensive year-long professional development and training program connects high-potential attorneys with leading general counsel of large U.S. corporations, managing partners from the country’s most prestigious law firms, and their peers for mentoring and career guidance.
“We are immensely proud of Erin for being selected as a Fellow with LCLD,” said Bilzin Sumberg CEO and Managing Partner Albert E. Dotson, Jr. “Erin has demonstrated leadership within the firm and among her peers, such that LCLD’s programs represent the natural next step in growing her talent and skills.”
As a Partner in the firm’s Corporate & Finance Group, Erin represents publicly traded and privately held companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, minority investments, leveraged buyouts, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and other complex corporate transactions. She counsels clients on both the buy and sell side of transactions and throughout all stages of their life cycles. Erin advises clients across multiple industries, including technology, life sciences, financial institutions and consumer, in addition to representing clients on the corporate aspects of large real estate transactions in connection with industrial and commercial assets.
Over the years, the LCLD Fellows program has built a reputation for helping to launch participants into top legal positions, with a substantial number of Fellows alumni becoming leaders within their organizations. Fellows have distinguished themselves from others by being deeply engaged, indispensable to key clients and teams, invested in attorney mentoring and professional development, and on a trajectory toward leadership positions.
