Alani is an Associate in the Real Estate Group, where she works with lenders, borrowers, investors, and developers on commercial real estate transactions. She handles the acquisition, financing, and development of hotel, multi-family, office, industrial and mixed-use properties.

Q & A

What excites you most about practicing law in South Florida’s real estate sector?

Seeing the impact of our work on behalf of clients – in the shape of new buildings and a changing landscape – is very satisfying. It’s a direct and constant reminder of the results that we achieve for our clients. As a native Miamian, I am also thrilled to be supporting the exciting transformations that my home city is experiencing. Bilzin Sumberg’s central role in so many of the deals shaping Miami’s skyline has anchored and grown my passion for practicing real estate law.

What do you most appreciate about building a career at Bilzin Sumberg?

Bilzin Sumberg places a strong emphasis on mentorship and training, which has been enormously valuable in helping me build the skills that clients consider critical for their matters. The mentorship, from senior partners in particular, has grown my ability to anticipate client needs and respond accordingly. I also appreciate the firm’s active encouragement of collaboration across practice groups, which allows me to effectively marshal whatever resources are needed in addressing client matters.
