Governor Charlie Crist signed SB 360, which provides certain exemptions for dense urban areas in qualifying cities and counties,into law on June 1, 2009. Sitting among a panel that discussed the changes to Florida's approach to growth management and subsequent implications of the new law, Mr. McDowell specifically addressed: Implications of financial feasibility issues; Alternate state review process;Comprehensive plan issues; Procedural and general provisions; Affordable housing.
