Scott Baena Elected to Greater Miami Jewish Federation Board of Directors

MIAMI, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce that Business Finance & Restructuring Group Chair Scott L. Baena was elected to the Greater Miami Jewish Federation's Board of Directors 2015-2016.

Serving for a one-year term, Scott will be responsible for helping the organization fulfill its mission to mobilize human and financial resources for those in need, strengthen Jewish life, and advance the unity, values and shared purpose of the Jewish people in Miami, Israel and around the world.

Scott has held numerous leadership positions at organizations throughout Florida, including his 2014-2016 appointment to the Florida Board of Bar Examiners by the Florida Supreme Court, where he serves as supervisor to bar admissions in the state of Florida. He has received Chambers USA’s highest ranking in Restructuring & Bankruptcy since the publication’s inaugural year in Florida and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for over 25 years.

A longtime member of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Scott has previously served as Judicial Reception Co-Chair from 2013 to 2014. His term with the Federation's Board of Directors will commence July 1, 2015.
