Suzanne has emerged as a power leader both within her firm and the commercial real estate industry. As Bilzin Sumberg's Real Estate Practice Group Leader, Suzanne leads the Group's efforts in hotel financing and loan restructuring, including the servicing of CMBS loans for the industry. She oversees all aspects of commercial real estate and finance transactions, including acquisitions, mixed-used development, leasing, public private partnerships, commercial mortgage backed securities, and loan restructurings. She is also active in the areas of marina and hotel acquisition, finance and development.
Suzanne has been recognized by various highly respected legal publications, such as Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, Florida Super Lawyers and South Florida Legal Guide. In addition to leading and maintaining her practice, Suzanne has served on the board of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Miami for over six years and was formerly President and Co-Chair of the national CREW Network Convention and Marketplace. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law, L.L.M. Graduate Program in Real Property Development and teaches Hospitality Law.
