Bilzin Sumberg finalist in South Florida Business Journal's 2016 Healthiest Employers Awards

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce that the South Florida Business Journal has named the Firm as one of five recipients of the 2016 Healthiest Employer awards in the medium company (100-499 employees) category. Bilzin Sumberg will also participate in the Health and Wellness Panel Discussion after the award luncheon.

The South Florida Business Journal, in conjunction with Healthy Employer LLC, recognizes organizations that are committed to creating a healthy workplace. The award utilizes an online assessment to measure wellness programming in six key categories: (1) leadership commitment, (2) foundational components, (3) strategic planning, (4) communication and marketing, (5) programming and interventions, and (6) reporting and analysis.

Bilzin Sumberg has been a wellness advocate for over a decade, and wellness is embedded in our culture. We currently offer several yoga classes per week, a healthy market, free gym membership, bimonthly on-site massages, and a subsidy for a healthy meal delivery service. We additionally offer an annual onsite health fair with biometric screenings and health insurance discounts to employees who participate in our wellness program. Our wellness program has led to many benefits, the largest being the increase in camaraderie in the office.
