Karyl Argamasilla Becomes Chair of United Way's Women United Executive Committee

Miami, FL – Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce that Real Estate Partner Karyl Argamasilla has been appointed by United Way as Chair of the organization’s Women United Executive Committee for 2022-2023. Karyl has been actively involved in United Way of Miami-Dade, previously serving as the chapter's Vice-Chair of Women's Leadership, and as a member of its Young Leaders Policies and Procedures Task Force.
As Chair of the Women United Executive Committee, Karyl will assist the organization in its mission to inspire and unite women in the spirit of philanthropy to build a stronger community and impact lives. She will support United Way’s vision to foster a thriving and equitable community where all people have access to quality education and the opportunity to lead healthy and financially secure lives.
Karyl focuses her practice on structuring and executing large commercial real estate transactions. She represents the largest special servicers of CMBS loans in the country. As a Director in the CMBS capital markets group, she handles complex assumptions, transfers of interests, workouts, forbearances and loan modifications, among others, with a special focus in the hospitality sector. She has experience counseling national and local developers, lenders, landlords, tenants, sellers, and purchasers in engagements such as acquisition, disposition and operation of property, development and financing for all asset types, including office, retail, multi-family, hospitality, self-storage and health care facilities, as well as portfolios of real property. As a bilingual Hispanic attorney, she has excelled at developing strong business relationships with Spanish-speaking clients, as well as forging new relationships with international clientele.
