Bilzin Sumberg Hosts Earth Day Beach Clean-Up at Virginia Key
MIAMI, FL – On April 6, Bilzin Sumberg’s Green Initiative organized a beach clean-up for its attorneys, staff, and their families in partnership with VolunteerCleanup.Org at Virginia Key in Miami-Dade County. The gathering represented the third beach clean-up hosted by Bilzin Sumberg for its employees in recent years. Prior to breaking out into groups to collect waste along Virginia Key’s shoreline, participants were educated about the County’s marine ecosystem and the significant impacts of their clean-up efforts by coordinators from VolunteerCleanup.Org.
Over the course of several hours, dozens of Bilzin Sumberg employees and their families collected over 100 pounds of garbage, underscoring the critical need for increased citizen engagement and responsible stewardship of Biscayne Bay and the wider local environment.
