Q & A
What distinguishes you from other attorneys in your field?
Since my first day as a practicing lawyer, I have worked in the Affordable Housing and Tax Credit industry, which has also included typical Real Estate attorney work. This unique combination, added to my prior experience as a CPA, allows me to understand my clients' needs in their totality and guide them through the life cycle of a project, ultimately arriving at the best solution. With my experience, I have learned which aspects of a deal are non-negotiable for my clients and which aspects they may be willing to negotiate to get to a closing.  Because of my ability to relate to people, I can bring them together to close the deal.
What is your approach to client relationships?
Every client has different needs, levels of experience, and knowledge of the industry, all of which affect the nature of the relationship.  I find that maintaining close client contact makes for a successful client relationship.
