Stanley B. Price Speaks At ICSC Conference
Miami, Florida, August 23, 2006 Stanley B. Price, a Partner in the Land Use & Government Relations Group at Bilzin Sumberg, joined a panel of industry experts in a discussion on retail development and redevelopment, at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Conference in Kissimmee, Fla., from August 20th to 22nd.
The panel, which featured Mr. Price along with two other experts and a moderator, addressed practical suggestions in identifying and resolving delays and other obstacles in development and redevelopment.
"These are real-world scenarios, presented with practical solutions to guide developers and help them navigate through troubles that may arise throughout the process. Among the suggestions, we discussed tips on dealing with government agencies and officials, tenants and construction," explained Mr. Price.
Mr. Price works extensively with government and regulatory agencies, developers and landowners to examine, interpret and establish land use policy. Since his previous career as an Assistant County Attorney for Dade County, Price has worked in the forefront of Florida land use law and has been the principal draftsman of important land use legislation. He is a frequently consulted expert on the subjects of owners and developers rights, and complex zoning and permitting issues. Price received his J.D. from Syracuse University and his B.S. from New York University.
