Lawyers for Children America's Pro Bono Award

Miami, FL - Bilzin Sumberg is proud to announce for the seventh consecutive year the Firm will receive the Lawyers for Children America's (LFCA) John Edward Smith Outstanding Law Firm Award, presented at LFCA's 18th Annual Awards Luncheon on December 14, 2017.
The award honors the exceptional pro bono services, commitment of time, and resources provided by law firms on behalf of abused, abandoned, and neglected children and youths.
Through its charitable in-house program, Bilzin Sumberg Cares, Firm attorneys provide pro bono legal assistance to LFCA and other non-profit institutions. Recently, Bilzin Sumberg hosted an LFCA CLE training session which helped to launch The Miami Foundation GLBTQ community grant project. The goal of the project is to support organizations and programs advancing education and public awareness of GLBTQ issues in Greater Miami.
For its unwavering commitment to important causes, LFCA presented Bilzin Sumberg with the Volunteer Firm of the Decade Award in 2011.
