Adrian K. Felix Appointed as National Co-Chair for the Judicial Intern Opportunity Program in the ABA Section of Litigation

MIAMI, FL- Bilzin Sumberg congratulates Litigation Partner Adrian K. Felix on his appointment as National Co-Chair for the Judicial Intern Opportunity Program of the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation. Adrian also serves as Co-Chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation's Construction Litigation Committee.
In his role, Adrian will support the Judicial Intern Opportunity Program in its mission to provide opportunities to students who are members of racial and ethnic groups that are traditionally underrepresented in the profession, students with disabilities, students who are economically disadvantaged, students who identify themselves as LGBT, and women.
At Bilzin Sumberg, Adrian leads the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee whose commitment to diversity is reflected in the Committee's multifaceted mission. The Committee seeks to create a more collaborative culture, provide an inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds can thrive, facilitate necessary institutional changes through strategic partnerships with various organizations, and to ensure minority attorneys have opportunities to network within the firm, the profession and the business community. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee also frequently hosts events that provide educational opportunities and open discussion about diversity and inclusion topics.
As a litigator, Adrian focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation across various industries, including construction, franchising, financial services, and hospitality. He has significant experience advising and representing real estate owners and developers in the management of distressed construction projects. As part of his practice, he regularly litigates construction disputes involving defects, delays, and lien claims on both domestic and international projects.
The American Bar Association's mission is to serve equally its members, the legal profession, and the public by defending liberty and delivering justice as the national representative of the legal profession.
