John Trach Appointed Deputy Chair of Bilzin Sumberg Cares Program
Miami, FL - Bilzin Sumberg is pleased to announce the appointment of John Trach as Deputy Chair of the Bilzin Sumberg Cares program. John will work alongside Program Chair Lori Lustrin to further strengthen the firm's commitment to community service and philanthropic initiatives.
Now in its seventeenth year, Bilzin Sumberg Cares serves as the cornerstone of the firm's charitable efforts, embodying its longstanding tradition of community involvement. The program encourages attorneys and staff to participate in a wide range of initiatives from cancer walks and toy drives to children's reading programs and pro bono legal clinics.

Each year, the Bilzin Sumberg Cares program culminates with its Bilzin Sumberg Cares Day, when all the firm's employees participate in a day of philanthropic service for a local organization. Recent activities to help such organizations have included painting buildings and classrooms, planting gardens, and assembling furniture and computer equipment.
As part of Bilzin Sumberg’s Corporate & Finance Group, John focuses his practice on corporate governance matters, M&A transactions, emerging company matters, and transactions involving joint ventures. Prior to his career in law, John’s professional experience spanned startup management, finance, corporate strategy, and real estate in numerous Florida businesses. He uses this business and finance experience to reinforce his legal practice by giving him a holistic, strategic view of client matters with an eye towards the long-term business implications of the transactions that they are involved in.
