A partner with over a decade of experience, Ken Duvall’s practice spans a variety of areas. Ken has handled commercial and financial litigation including mortgage backed securities cases, high-stakes insurance disputes such as director-and-officer claims, a wide range of real estate and land use matters, and product liability controversies including wrongful death actions. Comfortable in both federal and state courts, Ken has appeared before trial court judges across the country, from California to New York and Minnesota to Texas. As a former appellate clerk, Ken is also at ease handling appeals.
Jake Greenberg is a commercial litigation attorney who handles all types of business disputes, with an emphasis on real estate litigation, joint venture partnership disputes, and loan-servicing matters involving commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS). His expansive practice includes representation of financial institutions, commercial lenders, mortgage companies, special servicers, sponsors, developers, and commercial landlords and tenants, on matters spanning complex commercial foreclosures, lender liability, receiverships, loan workouts, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and CMBS regulatory compliance matters.
A veteran litigator with extensive federal trial experience, Lori Lustrin has been a key member of Bilzin Sumberg’s leading Antitrust Team virtually from its inception, recently securing the largest plaintiff antitrust op-out jury verdict in U.S. history. As an integral part of Bilzin Sumberg's Trial & Litigation Group, Lori Lustrin also has substantial experience in a broad range of other complex business litigation matters, representing clients in product labelling disputes, federal securities litigation, consumer product class actions, and multidistrict litigation across the country.
Shalia Sakona’s practice spans a broad array of complex and high-stakes commercial litigation matters, including class action defense, financial services and securities litigation, business torts, corporate governance, and antitrust opt-out litigation. Shalia is known for her excellence in written advocacy, having repeatedly obtained dismissals, summary judgments, and appellate victories at both the state and the federal levels. She has also been a key member of multiple jury trial teams that have secured verdicts in the millions or tens of millions of dollars.
